5k +/- Fun Run at Forgotten Star Brew Co | 2026 MN Brew Running Series

Start 2026 on the right (or left!) foot with our first fun run of the new year at Forgotten Star Brew Co! This untimed run is perfect for anyone looking to shake off the holidays, kickstart those resolutions, or simply enjoy a crisp Minnesota winter morning with great people and great beer.

To make running while (possibly) frozen a little more approachable, we're introducing a plus/minus route—you pick the distance that feels right! Our simple out-and-back course features clearly marked turnaround points for:

• 2.6k (short)
• 3.9k (mid)
• 5.2k (long)

Choose your distance on the fly and own it. And remember: in Minnesota winter temps, every kilometer basically counts double. A 5k? Practically an ultra. Brag responsibly.

• Open course — roads are not closed; please follow all traffic laws
• Clearly marked route that starts and ends at Forgotten Star Brew Co
• Bring your ID — under 21 or prefer N/A?? Nonalcoholic beverage options are also available.
• Rain or shine — from sunshine to classic Chicago weather mood swings, we’re here for it
• No bag check — plan and dress accordingly
• Dogs & strollers allowed with care; check Forgotten Star Brew Co policies
• Drink responsibly and consider carpooling or a designated driver
